Corn Maze Birthday Party

We celebrated Zach's birthday a week and a half early since we will be out of town on his actual birthday. He invited friends over and after pizza and cupcakes they went to Black Island Farms to enjoy the corn mazes and other harvest activities. I think it was a hit.

Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Roo

Today Roo is 1! I can't believe this past year has gone by so fast. She is growing too quickly. Maybe since Roo is our last, it seems like it is going by extra quickly.
Roo is not walking on her own yet. She walks around the furniture and crawls like a speed demon everywhere. She is so happy and we love her so much. The kids love to play with her and help. I especially love when she gives me her big smile and hugs me. I know her dad loves how she lights up when she sees him or even hears his voice. Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Today ZMan is 11. I can't believe my little guy is growing up so fast. He is such a sweet, fun boy. He loves his sisters (although he doesn't like to admit he loves Princess Izzybee) and he is such a help with them.
Last night he had his friend birthday party and they went to Boondocks and of course they loved it.

The Doodle turns 4 today. Throughout the month if you asked her how old she would be on her birthday she would say, "I be 1 and 2 and I already be 3 and I want to be 4 and 5" as she said this she should you her age with her fingers. So cute!

She had a small birthday party yesterday with a few friends in our neighborhood and was in heaven. She loved having friends over to sing "Happy Birthday" to her and she also loved being the center of attention. The Doodle has been such a blessing to our family and she keeps us smiling.

Birthday Party

Posted by Picasa
We planned a small birthday party this week for Princess Izzybee. She invited just a few friends and they decorated cupcakes and aprons at Michael's. The girls had a good time and their cupcakes were works of art. It was fun to watch them all together. My mom was a huge help because she kept my two younger girls so I could help and enjoy the party more.

The Princess and her ears

Yesterday Princess Izzybee along with the other two girls and I went shopping for her baptism dress. I rarely go to the mall because it's not that much fun with four kids and little ones included, but we braved the mall. We found a beautiful white dress and shoes and Sarah asked if she could get her ear pierced. She's brought it up other times in the past but not really pushed it and I wanted her to be old enough to take care of her ears herself. She picked out pretty blue flowers and cried when she got poked, but after a few minutes she was fine. I watched her walk around the mall looking her the store windows to admire her beautiful ears. So cute and so fun.
Along with her shopping trip she got a new DSi and some games for her birthday. She can't wait until her friend birthday party.

Today is our Princess's 8th birthday. I can't believe how grown up she it and it's happening so quickly. Yesterday she went to her first Activity Girl's activity and loved, loved it, she felt so grown up. Our family has been so blessed with Sarah, she is very caring and nurturing to her brother and sisters. Thanks for helping make our family so special Sarah.
