Weekly Update

Yay it's Friday! I'm so happy it's the weekend and we get a bit of a break. It's been a busy week and I we don't have any kid's soccer, baseball or softball games scheduled.

Randy left about 2 hours ago with ZMan and his two cousins for the Father and Son's Camp Out so it's just the girls and I tonight. The Doodle was so upset that her dad was going camping without her and cried for another 20 minutes after they left. A few weeks ago we were going to go camping as a family and it didn't work out due to bad weather but based on the Doodle's reaction tonight we better plan so more camping trips soon. I hope the guys have a fun time. ZMan has to pass off some Weblos things so he is supposed to help put the tent up and sleep in it and it's going to be a cold night. Randy will be nice and warm in the trailer so hopefully ZMan will be warm enough in his sleeping bag.

When they get home from the camp out they are going to a Real Salt Lake soccer game with ZMan's soccer team. This season instead of providing soccer treats after the games the boys were supposed to save their money and go together to a Real Salt Lake soccer game. ZMan is pretty excited for this since he's never been to a professional soccer game.

This past few weeks I have sat in the wet, cold and windy weather to watch my kids play soccer, baseball and softball. Most of the time Randy stayed home with the two little girls so at least I wasn't out there with the baby. I'm looking forward to some better weather for the remainder of the games, although ZMan only has one soccer game left. We still have quite a few softball and baseball games though so sun would be nice.

Princess Izzybee has progressed to the next level in gymnastics. I've told her she will need to pick between soccer and softball or gymnastics and each day she changes her mind. It's been challenging juggling so many activities this season which is why I would like her to pick but if she likes them all.... She has her end of year performance for Kindermusik next Friday and she preforms with her class and individually. We've invited the family to come see her so I know she will feel special that day.

One more month of school and we are done for a few months, I can't wait for the kids to be home and not have to worry about homework. We are enjoying the spring weather even though some days are not so "spring-like", it will be hot soon enough. Hopefully we'll open the pool by the end of the month and have some "wet" fun.
