Weekly Highlights

  • Randy made arrangement for Tiffi's two girls to take swimming lessons in our pool this past week and next week. Due to Sammi's liver transplant she cannot swim in public pools and if Randy adjusts the chemicals in ours she can so it's the only place she can learn to swim. They have had a great instructor who is encouraging them. We even had Princess Izzybee join the lesson on Thursday hoping she would put her face in the water without a water mask (which I don't think she did).
  • I've loved having Mom visit for the week and she will be here next week as well. I know the kids enjoy having Grandma here as well.
  • Our air conditioning went out and we lived in the miserable heat for a few days until it was repaired. I am SO happy to have a cooler house again, that was awful.
  • Today was Grandma Curtis' birthday. Randy and the older 2 kids along with their 2 cousins drove down to St George to surprise her for the day and spend her birthday with her. They were the ones surprised since she had gone out of town with her husband. Bummer! Instead they went to a movie and a few other places before driving all the way home.
  • We are excited for tomorrows 4th of July activities. First we will head to the church for our Neighborhood Patriotic Breakfast and then the Centerville Parade and home for swimming and a BBQ with friends and family.
